Scandinavian Road Freight

OceanBlue operate its own dedicated road freight services from the UK to Norway, Sweden, Finland and Denmark. OceanBlue have many years experience in the movement of part loads and groupage from the UK to Scandinavia.

We are capable of collecting all types of cargo from anywhere in the UK for shipment to all areas of the Nordic countries. Customers are welcome to deliver cargo into our secure main receiving depot at Immingham if they prefer.

Our groupage and part load services depart weekly and directly from Immingham to Oslo, Gothenburg and Esbjerg, we also depart from Hull/Teesport to Helsinki.

All services depart on a Saturday and midweek departures are also available subject to sufficient cargo.

In addition a Finland EXPRESS service is also operated, this service is geared up for the urgent and express shipments to Finland. All areas of Finland can be served with fast transit times and reliable service, this service is in co-operation with our Finland agent, Scandinavian Shipping Oy.

Most types of hazardous cargoes are accepted for all areas of Scandinavia, however correct/clear documentation and tremcards must always be provided.

The Baltic States can also be served via our terminal on the outskirts of Helsinki, this offers a much better route into the Baltic Countries.

OceanBlue have their own dedicated partners in Scandinavia, this offers the customer both a reliable and personal service. In addition with having our own dedicated partners, and internal services into Scandinavia, we are also capable of offering an import service from Scandinavia to the UK.
